Lutsenko refutes MP Leshchenko on ownership of 'huge house in Kyiv centre'
Prosecutor General of Ukraine Yuriy Lutsenko has denied owning a 'family house' in Kyiv, as MP Serhiy Leshchenko previously stated.
"I read MP Leshchenko’s fantasy on the website of the Ukrayinska Pravda newspaper saying I have 'a huge house in the center of Kyiv' drawn up on my wife's accountant. I officially declare I and my family do not own any such house. It is the exclusive prerogative of Leshchenko to hide revenues behind women," Lutsenko said on his Facebook page on Monday morning.
Prosecutor General also said that he fills out and submits his electronic declaration on time.
The current prosecutor general has everything "registered on his wife’s accountant, the owner of a huge house in the center of the city," Leshchenko said in the published interview with the Channel 5 TV website on Sunday. When asked whether he was talking about Lutsenko, the MP said: "Well, of course, Lutsenko. There are many examples when everything is registered to figureheads."
