Ukrainian experts predict the new political season in Ukraine will be eventful.

"This political season is to finally resolve the issue of the war and clarify the issue with the Minsk agreements," Director of the Institute of Global Strategies Vadym Karasiov said at a press conference at Interfax-Ukraine agency on Monday.

He said if the international community put pressure on the Ukrainian authorities, the latter will have to fulfill the political part of the agreement. "But the question arises: how to make the election law, what will happen with an amnesty, etc.," he said.

Experts said high priority issues will be tariffs, the heating season, subsidies and social dissatisfaction.

"The third is the budget process, cooperation with the IMF. There are many unknown points," Karasiov said, noting that the allocation of the next tranche is delayed so far.

He said the arson of the Inter TV channel indicates that the season could be very hot, and called these events "a worrying sign" for the country.

Director of the Ukrainian Barometer sociological service Viktor Nebozhenko also noted that there had been several alarms in recent years.

"The worst thing, taking effect now, is that almost all the government institutions have weakened during these two years," Nebozhenko said, explaining that it is especially bad in a situation when the country is in dire need of major reforms.

The expert predicts social tension in the country will keep growing, and the lack of reforms will lead to the emergence of the so-called neighborhood leaders."

"The lack of serious reforms leads to an increase of spontaneous, chaotic and anarchic behavior," he said.

In turn, expert of the Gardarica Strategic Consulting Corporation Kostiantyn Matviyenko said that the situation with the country's budget remains vague. "At the same time, the events that happened with Inter TV channel show that we are entering a zone of severe turbulence," the expert believes.

He predicts that the new political season in Ukraine will be "scandalous with a tense social situation."
