Turchynov urges Poland to impose sanctions against individuals from Savchenko-Sentsov list

Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine (NSDC) Oleksandr Turchynov during his visit to Poland urged Polish authorities to support imposing personal sanctions against individuals involved in unlawful actions in relation to Ukrainian citizens Nadia Savchenko, Oleh Sentsov, and other Ukrainians illegally detained or convinced in Russia.
The press service of the NSDC reported that Turchynov held meetings with Marshal of the Sejm of Poland Marek Kuchcinski, Marshal of the Senate Stanisław Karczewski and Minister for Foreign Affairs of Poland Witold Waszczykowski and Turchynov thanked leaders of Parliament "for the decision of Senate and Sejm in support of Nadia Savchenko and for demands concerning her release".
Turchynov reached out to the interlocutors with a request to support the decision of Ukraine's NSDC of March 25, 2016 on introduction of personal special economic and other restrictive measures (sanctions) against individuals, involved in unlawful actions towards Savchenko, Sentsov and Oleksandr Kolchenko.
He expressed hope that Poland will support sanctions, proposed by Ukraine's NSDC, and individuals, involved in torturing of Savchenko, Sentsov and other Ukrainian patriots, "will not be able to get not only to Poland but to all civilized countries of Europe".
Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko on March 17, 2016 during his visit to Brussels handed Ukraine's proposals on sanctions against individuals involved in unlawful actions in relation to Savchenko.
There are 84 names on the Savchenko-Sentsov list.
