NAB completes pre-trial investigation of Naftogaz top manager

The National Anti-Corruption Bureau of Ukraine (NAB) has finished its pre-trial investigation in the criminal case against the unlawful pressure by acting Board Chairman of national joint-stock company Naftogaz Ukrainy Andriy Pasishnyk on Economic Development and Trade Minister Aivaras Abromavicius (Part 1, Article 344 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine).

After Pasishnyk's lawyers study the materials of the case, an indictment may be handed down.

The pre-trial investigation in the criminal case under an application of Abromavicius (Part 2, Article 364 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine) regarding the pressure of some lawmakers on the minister is underway.

NAB Detectives of on February 3 started checking facts presented by Economic Development and Trade Minister of Ukraine Aivaras Abromavicius regarding the possible interference of First Deputy Head of the Petro Poroshenko Bloc Ihor Kononenko and other MPs into the work of the ministry.
