Minsk meeting won't take place until Kyiv official appointed - Zakharchenko
Alexander Zakharchenko, the head of the self-proclaimed Donetsk People's Republic (DPR), has denied the possibility of the next round of the Minsk negotiations being held until Kyiv appoints his official representative.
"We won't hold the Minsk meeting until an official person is appointed by Ukraine. Kuchma is a private individual," Zakharchenko told reporters.
He confirmed plans to resume the prisoner exchange, but insists that the people handed over by Kyiv to militants should be military men, not political activists.
"There will be a prisoner exchange, but it will be different from what it was. There will be a list of military men who will be exchanged for other military men. We are not talking about activists, only military men," Zakharchenko said.
