Simferopol International Airport replaces supervisory board

Public joint-stock company Simferopol International Airport has replaced its supervisory board, the company said in a statement in the information disclosure system of the National Commission on Securities and the Stock Market.

The head of the supervisory board, Lyudmila Yeltsova, has been fired, as have other board members, including Maxim Shukayev, Ivan Vankhanyen, Viktor Chepurko and Yevgeny Plaksin.

The head of Crimea's republican committee on environmental protection, Gennady Narayev, has been elected supervisory board chairman. The first deputy chairman of the republic's Supreme Council, Sergei Donich, was named Narayev's deputy.

The number of members on the supervisory board has also been increased. New board members include Crimean Verkhovna Rada deputy Alexei Tikhomirov; the head of the republican committee on transportation and communication, Yury Shevchenko; deputy head of the Ministry of Revenue in Crimea, Sergei Kryukov; deputy head of the republic's property fund, Nadyezhda Klipa; deputy head of corporate governance and bankruptcy of the state property fund of Crimea, Natalia Smetanyuk; the head of the airport's trade union committee, Alexander Volochay and the deputy director of the airport's key flights, Nikolai Turkov.

The Simferopol International Airport, whose management has also undergone changes recently, was built in 1936. The airport is wholly state-owned and currently has four terminals and two runways.
