Bomb threat against stations in Kharkiv a hoax, says police

The bomb threat made on Friday morning against an unnamed train station in Kharkiv was a hoax, the public relations department at the Interior Ministry of Ukraine in Kharkiv region has reported.

"During the inspection of train stations in Kharkiv, no bombs and explosives were found," reads a statement.

As reported, at 0840 the police department of Pivdenna Railways received an anonymous call from a person making bomb threat against an unnamed station in Kharkiv. Due to this, all train stations were closed. A total of 1,700 people were evacuated. The policemen were searching the stations for explosives, and taking measures to identify the person who made the call with the bomb threat.
