Ukrainian Red Cross mobile rehabilitation teams conducted more than 9,000 visits in a year

Over the course of a year, mobile rehabilitation teams of the Ukrainian Red Cross Society (URCS) carried out more than 9,000 visits to patients, according to the communications and marketing department of the National Committee of the Ukrainian Red Cross Society.

URCS mobile rehabilitation teams operate in 13 regions of the country. Over the year, they provided support to nearly 2,000 beneficiaries at their places of residence and in specially equipped rehabilitation spaces. During 2025, nine rehabilitation spaces of the Ukrainian Red Cross were in operation, seven of which were opened this year.

A significant part of the work of the URCS's physical and mental rehabilitation teams involved providing patients with assistive devices, with more than 2,000 units delivered in total.

Specialists from the mobile rehabilitation teams also conduct training activities for patients' relatives, representatives of the medical and social sectors, and community residents.

At the end of the year, the social recovery program was resumed, with 43 veteran families taking part. The program is aimed at supporting recovery, adaptation, and strengthening family resources after the experience of war.
