Syrsky: We’re doing everything to protect Pokrovsk, prevent its capture

Ukrainian soldiers are doing everything to protect Pokrovsk in Donetsk region and prevent its capture by the enemy, said Oleksnadr Syrsky, Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
"The enemy is making every effort to take it [Pokrovsk]. And we are doing everything to protect it and prevent its capture," he said in an interview with TSN.Tyzhden.
Syrsky also noted that some had stated that Ukraine would lose Pokrovsk on September 30.
"The enemy is concentrating their best units there. He has the ability to change them because he has a greater potential for offensive action. For now," the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine emphasized.
According to him, the enemy's losses "several times" exceed the losses of the Ukrainian Defense Forces in Pokrovsk area.
