Last night, the soldiers of the Armed Forces of Ukraine struck Russian targets, as a result, military facilities and facilities of the fuel and energy complex in the territory of the Russian Federation were hit, President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy has said.

"Report of Commander-in-Chief Syrsky. First of all, I want to thank our soldiers of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, who inflicted tangible blows on Russian targets last night. Military facilities on the territory of Russia have been hit, as well as facilities of the fuel and energy complex working for aggression against our state and people. The commander-in-chief reported on the details of the defeat," Zelenskyy wrote on the Telegram channel on Wednesday.

He also stressed that it is precisely this range and accuracy that step by step brings Russia back to the reality that the war needs to be ended.

In addition, Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Oleksandr Syrsky, reported on the situation in all major areas at the front.

"The hottest ones are in Donetsk region, namely Pokrovsk and Kurakhove directions. Fierce fighting continues," the president said.

According to him, in November and December there were all time-high losses of the Russian army in battles and assaults.

The Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine also reported on the situation in the areas of the Kursk operation. "We are reducing the Russian military potential as much as possible – this is our main goal now," Zelenskyy summed up.

Earlier, Russian media reported that Taganrog of Rostov region of the Russian Federation was allegedly subjected to a missile attack on Wednesday night, an industrial enterprise was damaged.
