One dead, 13 injured in enemy attack on Sumy geriatric center
One person was killed and 13 people suffered injuries of varying severity as a result of Russia's attack with a guided aerial bomb on the building of a geriatric center for war and labor veterans in Sumy region, Sumy Regional Military Administration has reported as of 19:00 on Thursday.
"The Russians dropped a guided aerial bomb on the facility with 221 patients, including 87 people with limited mobility. As of 19:00, one person was killed and 13 people sustained injuries of varying severity as a result of the strike," it said on the Telegram channel.
A headquarters has been established for the liquidation of the aftermath of the enemy airstrike. Patients were evacuated from the center to the places where all necessary conditions were prepared for them. The people are receiving medical and psychological assistance.
Earlier, one dead and twelve injured were reported as a result of the attack.
