Children of Ukrainian defenders start studying in four lyceums of Interior Ministry – minister
Almost 500 children from the families of Ukrainian defenders have begun training in four lyceums specializing in security and national-patriotic education of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, reported Minister of Internal Affairs of Ukraine Ihor Klymenko.
"Nine months ago, this was an idea, a desire to support the families of our defenders. The entire team of the Ministry of Internal Affairs worked every day to implement the plan, believed in the result ... And now 465 children from all over Ukraine have completed the introductory course of the lyceum student, received chevrons and shoulder straps," the head of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine said on the Telegram channel on Monday.
He specified that, first of all, these are children of the dead, wounded, missing, captured servicemen and employees of the Ministry of Internal Affairs. A quarter of the lyceum students are from the families of servicemen of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
The minister also added that another lyceum will soon open in Kryvyi Rih. "Repairs are underway there, and 50 Kryvyi Rih lyceum students will study at the Dniprovsky lyceum until the work is completed," Klymenko specified.
