O. Kuleba: Zelenskyy instructs regional military heads to partner with American states' reps
President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy held a meeting on Monday with the heads of regional military administrations, Deputy Head of the President's Office Oleksiy Kuleba said in his Telegram channel.
"The focus is on the stability of the energy system, preparation for the heating season, construction of fortifications, arrangement of shelters, and the new school year. Everything that is important and vital today. We discussed operational and security in the regions, heard from regional leaders," Kuleba said.
As he said, the president instructed the head of the regional military administrations to establish cooperation at the regional level with representatives of American states. "He also discussed this issue with the governors during his visit to the United States," Kuleba said.
According to the President's Office deputy head, "there are already certain developments; we are involving the Congress of local and regional authorities in this activity, and together with international partners we are preparing projects on energy, education, medicine, rehabilitation, and providing shelters."
As reported, on Sunday the President of Ukraine held a meeting with the U.S. governors, during which regional cooperation and the establishment of relationships between U.S. states and regions of Ukraine, cooperation at the level of defense companies and the restoration of Ukrainian schools and hospitals were discussed.
