"I have no ties with Martynenko today, apart from the settling of the business issue in a civilized way… The whole holding did not change… Everything we have it was always 50% to 50%," Zhvania said in an interview with Ukrainska Pravda published on Monday.
The businessman denied the statement that Martynenko removed him from business.
He said that since 2007, he has stopped managing business. He said that Serhiy Pereloma, who was appointed first deputy board chairman of Naftogaz Ukrainy in August 2014 and heads supervisory board of Odesa Port-Side Plant and Ukrtransgaz, became a manager of the holding under a request of Martynenko.
Commenting on the accusations regarding the purchase of uranium concentrate by state-run Skhidny Mining in Kazakhstan via Austria's Steuermann Investitions- und Handelsgesellschaft mbH, Zhvania confirmed that the company was a part of the business group as a technical company to supply small batches of abrasive substances to Europe.
