JYSK opens largest store in western Ukraine
On June 20, the international chain JYSK opened a new store in Ternopil in XL format in the Podoliany shopping center (28ch Tekstylna Street), the retailer’s press service reported.
“In June, 17 new JYSK stores are planned to open in 12 European countries. It's nice that JYSK Ukraine is part of this expansion. Despite the air raids, we opened two new stores this month,” JYSK Country Director for Ukraine Yevhen Ivanytsia said.
The new store became the second in Ternopil, its sales area is 1,238 sq m, warehouse – 410 sq m, plus a separate office space of 51 sq m. The new store in Ternopil was built according to the 3.0 concept, which involves better spot lighting, design that is more modern and a more comfortable zonal arrangement of goods for the buyer.
The press service added that the expanded area allows to offer customers a wider range of goods. In particular, here are some of the products that are usually only available online.
Currently, there are 97 stores and the online store jysk.ua in Ukraine. It plans to reach 100 stores by the end of 2024. The candidate cities where the 100th store will be opened have been preliminarily identified, it will be either Kalush or Kryvy Rih in August.
