In building damaged by drone in Odesa, 18 apartments destroyed, seven more damaged

As a result of a Russian drone hitting a residential building in Odesa, 18 apartments were destroyed and, according to preliminary data, another seven were damaged, the city mayor's office said.

"As of 14:30, 18 apartments were destroyed and, according to preliminary data, another seven were damaged. An operational headquarters is working at the scene of the tragedy," the mayor's office said on the Telegram channel on Saturday.

The authorities have reportedly been restored to the damaged house. There is no heat supply in 11 houses, a school and a kindergarten. Work is underway to restore the boiler room. There is no gas supply in two houses; relevant services are working on site.

As reported, as a result of the destruction of a multi-storey building in Odesa, damaged by a Russian drone, five people were killed, including a child. Eight people were injured, including a child. Five people were saved.

According to the Defense Forces of southern Ukraine, Russian forces attacked Odesa last night with eight drones from the Black Sea, seven of them were destroyed.
