European Union High Representative for Foreign and Security Policy Josep Borrell expressed admiration for Ukrainian capabilities in drone production and believes that at the end of the war, Ukraine will be at the forefront of a new way of warfare.

"You don't need help with drones. I visited some of your drone factories and was very surprised by the ability of your engineers to create high quality drones in large quantities. And at the end of the war, Ukraine will be at the forefront of a new way of warfare. This is truly amazing. And I think this needs to be taken into account, how a country can have such a production capacity of advanced and efficient drones out of nothing in one year. I must congratulate you on this," Borrell said at a joint press conference with Ukrainian Foreign Minister Dmytro Kuleba in Kyiv.

Asked whether the Russian threat is more serious today than it was two years ago, Borrell said it was important "that we are very much aware."

"Two years ago, we had a 40% dependency on Russian gas - too much. Now, this dependency is zero," he said.

According to Borrell, today people in Europe are well aware that Russia poses a threat to them, and not just to Ukraine.
