Center for Special Operation Forces destroys reconnaissance equipment installed by invaders on captured mining platform in Black Sea

The operators of the 73rd Marine Center of the Special Operations Forces destroyed the reconnaissance equipment installed by the Russian occupiers on the mining platform they seized off the coast of the temporarily occupied Crimea.

"The Russians used one of the illegally seized mining platforms to enhance the operation of the Iranian-made Mohajer-6 unmanned aerial vehicle. Namely, they installed equipment that increases the range and radius of its operation. The enemy used this UAV to conduct reconnaissance and subsequent strikes by Shahed kamikaze drones on critical infrastructure facilities in southern Ukraine. In addition, the enemy installed a surface object detection radar station (from motorboats to ships) Neva-B on the platform. Through this radar, the Russians controlled the situation in the northwestern part of the Black Sea," the Telegram channel reported on Tuesday.

The special operation was carried out in the patrol area of the aviation and navy of the Russian Federation. "At night, the boats of the 73rd marine center of the Special Operation Forces came close to the mining platform. After carrying out special actions and cleaning, the object was mined. The combat group retreated to a safe distance and detonated an enemy target," the message says.

As a result of the operation, important enemy equipment was captured and the mast with the antenna was blown up. "The successfully conducted special operation ensured safer movement of ships and limited the enemy's capabilities in the northwestern part of the Black Sea," the SOF emphasizes.
