Zelenskyy visits AFU's frontline positions in Robotyne area

During a working trip to Zaporizhia region, President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy visited the frontline positions of the Ukrainian military near the village of Robotyne, the press service of the head of the Ukrainian state said.

"In particular, the Head of State visited the location of the 65th separate mechanized brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. Volodymyr Zelenskyy was briefed on the operational situation by the commander of the Zaporizhzhia operational grouping of troops Volodymyr Horbatiuk," the president's website said on Sunday.

During his visit, Zelenskyy spoke with Ukrainian military personnel and presented them with state awards. In particular, he handed over the Presidential award "Cross of Military Merit" to the commander of a reconnaissance platoon, Senior Lieutenant Andriy Olshanskyi. Volodymyr Zelenskyy also awarded the warriors with the Orders of Bohdan Khmelnytsky and "For Courage."

"It is a great honor to be here today. To support you and present awards. You are facing a difficult and crucial mission – to repel the enemy and win this war. I wish you this victory. I wish you to do everything to speed up this victory. I wish you to be supported by your family, friends and all citizens of Ukraine. All sane people in the world understand that you have the most difficult job, and all Ukrainians are proud of you," the president said.
