Number of victims of missile attack in Kyiv increases to 22 – updated data

The number of victims of a missile attack in Kyiv has increased to 22 people, Head of Kyiv City Military Administration Serhiy Popko said.

"As of 11:30, 22 people were injured as a result of a missile attack in Kyiv, 13 of them were hospitalized. The data is being updated," the administration's press service said in a statement, citing Popko.

As specified in the National Police's statement on the Telegram channel, four children were among the victims.

According to a statement from the State Emergency Service on the Telegram channel, in Sviatoshynsky district of the capital, a high-rise building was damaged as a result of the impact, and two cars caught fire nearby. Some 19 people were evacuated from the house.

At another address, a fire occurred in apartments with a total area of 30 square meter, with the destruction of balconies from the first to fifth floors. One victim has been previously identified. She was handed over to doctors who are now fighting for her life. In addition, 30 people were taken out of the house.

In the third location, a fire broke out in a two-story building with an area of 20 square meters.

Also, five cars were damaged due to enemy shelling.

In Pechersky district, a fire occurred in one-story non-residential building on an area of 150 square meters. The fire has been extinguished.

In Solomiansky district, a two-story sports hall building covering an area of 300 square meters was partially destroyed without fire, seven victims were hospitalized.

In total, psychological assistance was provided to more than 30 citizens.

Some 154 rescuers and 33 pieces of equipment were brought to the scene.
