Some 155 people who managed to be evacuated from the military conflict zone in the Gaza Strip have arrived in Chisinau, the Main Intelligence Agency of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine said on Saturday, November 11.

"Some 155 people, who were evacuated from the Gaza Strip as part of the mission of the Main Intelligence Agency of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine, arrived at Chisinau airport on a flight from Egypt. Some 145 citizens of Ukraine, nine citizens of Moldova and one Palestinian were rescued from the conflict zone," the agency said in the Telegram channel.

The agency also says most Ukrainians will return to Ukraine.

"Among the evacuees are many families with children, as well as one Ukrainian citizen who has cancer: upon arrival in the capital of Moldova, she was immediately taken by ambulance to one of the checkpoints with Ukraine, where she was met by a team of our doctors and taken to the hospital in Odesa," the agency said.

"The operation to save our fellow citizens in the Middle East continues," the intelligence said.
