On the territory of the Ivankiv Lyceum (Boryspil district of Kyiv region), a new civil protection protective structure is being built at the expense of the Fund for the Elimination of the Consequences of Armed Aggression, the press service of Kyiv Regional Military Administration reports.

"Construction has already begun. Earthworks were carried out, the foundation slab was reinforced and filled with concrete, and the frame of the walls was made of rebar. The outer walls are being built now. In total, it is planned to erect monolithic reinforced concrete walls in the shelter, perform waterproofing, insulation, external and internal decoration of premises, equip bathrooms and a medical office," the message says.

It is noted that about 400 schoolchildren study at the lyceum, various clubs and sports sections function in it, which are attended not only by lyceum students, but by all children of the community.

"Now there is no shelter in the institution, students use a shelter nearby. The protective structure with a total area of 1,030 m2 can accommodate 305 people. The new construction of an anti-radiation shelter will allow organizing shift training in full-time format," the Administration notes.
