Kuleba calls on OSCE to develop, based on organization’s report on deportation of Ukrainian children by Russia, specific projects to counter this crime

Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Dmytro Kuleba called on the OSCE to develop specific projects based on the report of the organization on the deportation of Ukrainian children by Russia in order to obtain powerful tools to counter this crime.

“I am especially grateful to Bujar for the fact that the OSCE promptly supported my call and responded to the problem of the deportation of Ukrainian children by Russia. A corresponding report within the OSCE has already been prepared, it has become an important road map for further actions. And today I have called on the organization to urgently develop on the basis of this report specific projects so that we receive common powerful tools to counter this crime,” Kuleba said at a press conference with the current OSCE Chairman Bujar Osmani in Kyiv.

The head of the Ukrainian Foreign Ministry also thanked Osmani for his prompt response to the recent Russian attack on the village of Groza and for urgently convening a special meeting of the OSCE Permanent Council.

“The next crime of the Russian Federation, fortunately, did not remain without a proper reaction from the OSCE precisely thanks to the position of the Macedonian Chairmanship. I hope that the OSCE will play an important role in documenting Russian crimes, and in the future, in bringing Russia to justice,” Kuleba noted.

He also expressed conviction that the OSCE also has the potential to actively participate in the implementation of the Peace Formula of Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy.
