Brussels will host a meeting of the Ukraine-NATO Council, convened by NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg at the request of Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy due to the situation in the Black Sea.

As Interfax-Ukraine was informed at the headquarters of the North Atlantic Treaty Organization, the meeting will start at 15.00 (Brussels time) and will be held at the level of ambassadors-permanent representatives of NATO member countries. As it is known, Ukraine is represented in the alliance by Ambassador Natalia Halibarenko.

There are no press events.

As previously reported, on July 22, Zelenskyy said in a video address that due to the situation in the Black Sea, Ukraine had proposed to urgently convene a Ukraine-NATO council.
