Some 261 children killed, 463 injured due to Russia’s aggression in Ukraine – PGO

As of June 3, 2022, the official number of children killed as a result of the aggression of the Russian Federation has not changed over the day – 261, the number of wounded has increased-463 children, the press service of the Prosecutor General's Office (PGO) reports.

"More than 724 children were injured in Ukraine as a result of the full-scale armed aggression of the Russian Federation. As of the morning of June 3, 2022, the official number of child victims per day has not changed - 261. The number of wounded has increased–463. The most affected children were in Donetsk region – 187, Kyiv – 116, Kharkiv – 112, Chernihiv – 68, Luhansk – 52, Kherson – 52, Mykolaiv – 47, Zaporizhia – 29, Sumy – 17, in the city of Kyiv – 16, and Zhytomyr – 15," the message published on the Telegram channel reads.

These figures are not final, as work is underway to establish them in the places of active hostilities, in the temporarily occupied and liberated territories.

During the recording of criminal offenses of the Russian Federation, it became known about the injury of three children in Mariupol, Donetsk region.

Due to the constant bombing and shelling of Ukrainian cities and villages by the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation, 1,938 educational institutions were damaged, 182 of them were completely destroyed.
