Invaders advance in direction of Nyzhnie, Orikhove in Luhansk region

Russian invaders launched an offensive against Nyzhnie and Orikhove in Luhansk region in order to capture Popasna and Rubizhne, head of the regional military administration Serhiy Haidai said.

"Shelling along the entire front line. After the capture of Novotoshkivske, the Russians launched an offensive on Nyzhnie and Orikhove. Civilians were bombed in all free cities. In Pryvillia, one was killed," he wrote on Facebook on Wednesday morning.

Haidai stressed that the occupiers focused on the offensive in Severodonetsk and Popasna directions, "they want to completely capture Popasna and Rubizhne, and advance on Severodonetsk. The key word is 'want."

The head of Luhansk regional military administration noted that over the past 24 hours, nine enemy attacks were repulsed in Donbas, nine tanks, eleven artillery systems, four units of special and 17 armored vehicles, three units of special engineering and 16 units of automotive equipment, four tankers and one anti-aircraft equipment were destroyed.

"The Russians have been shelling residential areas of the free cities of Luhansk region for the past 24 hours. A local resident died in Pryvillia. The orcs specifically got into one of the Lysychansk schools, where 23 people were in the basement. Everyone is alive," Haidai wrote.

According to him, on Tuesday, 49 people were taken out of the shelled Bilohorivka. And immediately after that, the invaders "powerfully covered the village with fire." One house burned down.

Earlier, Haidai said that on Tuesday at least seven houses in Severodonetsk, Rubizhne, Nyzhnie, Lysychansk burned as a result of shelling.
