As a result of shelling of the city of Rubizhne on March 22, three people died, two of them children, Luhansk Regional Military Administration Head Serhiy Haidai has said.

"The tragedy occurred in the evening, when the Russian army intensified shelling. At about 8 p.m., the enemy hit a high-rise building in Rubizhne. A shell exploded on the fifth floor. Rescuers found three dead people, two of them children. The enemy does not stop and continues stubbornly aim at civilians. Today, once again, the world will know that the so-called 'Russian world' is the death of little children," Haidai said on his Telegram channel on Wednesda.

He also said that on Tuesday evening, enemy fire set fire to an enterprise and an educational institution in Rubizhne, a fire broke out in five residential buildings in Kreminna and three in Rubizhne. Rescuers continued to put out the flames at the oil refinery in Lysychansk.
