Over the past day, the Russian military shelled eleven settlements in Donetsk region from rocket and heavy artillery, at least 16 residential buildings and infrastructure facilities were destroyed, there are dead and wounded, according to the National Police of Ukraine.

"During the day, eleven settlements were shelled by the Russians. At least 16 residential buildings and infrastructure facilities were damaged. As a result of the strikes of the Russian troops, there are dead and wounded, there are children among them, as well as police officers and the State Emergency Service officers," the operational statement of the police of Donetsk region, posted in the telegram channel of the National Police, says.

So, according to the police, Mariupol, Avdiyivka, Krasnohorivka, Maryiynka, Vuhledar, Bohoyavlenka, Novomykhailivka, Stepne, Olhynka, Vasylivka, Verkhniotoretske were under fire from the invaders.

"The enemy hit towns and villages with rocket and heavy artillery. Among the civilian facilities destroyed by the Russian Federation are multi-storey and private houses, a recreation center, eleven shops, etc.," the report says.

The police informs about the opening of criminal proceedings under Article 438 (violation of the laws and customs of war) and Article 110 (encroachment on the territorial integrity and inviolability of Ukraine) of the Criminal Code of Ukraine.
