Reznikov asks AFU foreign arms suppliers to verify authenticity of documents of product recipients

Minister of Defense of Ukraine Oleksiy Reznikov appealed to foreign partners supplying weapons, ammunition and other products for the Armed Forces of Ukraine, with a call to clarify the powers of recipients of products in the embassies and offices of military attachés of Ukraine.

"Unfortunately, as in any war, there are those who want to make money on grief. These people can present themselves as 'advisers,' 'assistants,' 'heads of departments,' and also demonstrate 'documents' – fakes. As a minister, I responsibly declare: they are all scum, marauders and traitors who have nothing to do with the defense of Ukraine, but work for their own pocket and/or the enemy. With this in mind, I call on the world community to be vigilant and ask to clarify the powers of 'authorized persons' in the embassies and offices of the military attachés of Ukraine, and to transfer all these 'arms barons' with fake documents to law enforcement agencies," Reznikov said in an appeal published by the press service of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine on Facebook.

He also thanked the states, international and non-governmental organizations that have provided, are providing and will continue to provide any assistance to Ukraine, and especially those who provide military-technical assistance.

"I officially declare that all military assistance, down to the last bullet and a cent, is and will continue to be used for its intended purpose – for defense and protection from Russian invaders. And marauders have a place behind bars," the minister stressed.
