After shelling Dorohozhytska Street in Kyiv administrative building on fire, 5 people evacuated – National Police

The National Police has reported that as a result of a shell hitting a four-storey building on Dorohozhytska Street (located next to the Kyiv TV tower), an explosion and fire occurred in the building, five people were evacuated.

"Kyiv: As a result of the arrival of two unknown ammunition, a fire broke out in a four-storey administrative building at 10, Dorohozhytska St. At 17:18, the operational coordination center of the Main Directorate of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine in Kyiv received a message that as a result of hit by an unknown enemy projectile, an explosion occurred, followed by burning of the four-storey administrative building," the National Police said on its Telegram channel.

According to the police, the rescuers of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine have already started extinguishing the fire and evacuating people on the site. "At the moment, it is known about 5 evacuated citizens, one of whom was found in a bomb shelter," the police said.

Work to localize the fire and search for people continues.

In turn, Advisor to the Minister of Internal Affairs of Ukraine Anton Gerashchenko wrote on his Telegram channel: "The Russian occupation troops did the unthinkable. They bombed the Jewish graves in Babi Yar. Honestly, I simply have no words and no indignation. If this is not fascism, what then is fascism?! On the map you see the place of the attack on the Babi Yar Memorial."

In his message, Gerashchenko posted a photo with the place where the shells hit.
