Russian-led forces mounted nine attacks on the Ukrainian army from 07:00 to 18:00 Kyiv time on Tuesday, September 11, as a result of which two Ukrainian soldiers were wounded in action, the press center of the Joint Forces Operation (JFO) Headquarters has said.

"The enemy opened aimed fire from grenade launchers of various systems, large-caliber machine guns and small arms. The enemy did not use weapons that were prohibited by the Minsk agreements," the press center said on Facebook in an update as of 18:00 Kyiv time on Tuesday.

During the day, Ukrainian positions near the town of Zolote, and the villages of Krymske, Katerynivka, Novoluhanske, Shumy, Hnutove, and Vodiane were attacked with the use of grenade launchers, heavy machine guns and small arms.

"Two JFO members have been wounded amid hostilities," it said.

In the event of a threat to servicemen's lives, their commanders ordered to fire back to make the enemy cease fire. The situation in the JFO area remains under control, the JFO HQ said.
