Two Ukrainian servicemen wounded in Donbas on Aug 20

 Militants in Donbas have fired at the positions of the Ukrainian Armed Forces 23 times over the past 24 hours, wounding two Ukrainian servicemen, the press service of the headquarters of the Joint Forces Operation (JFO) has reported.

"The enemy opened fire on the positions of our troops 23 times, including with the use of proscribed heavy weapons. Russian occupation forces fired from grenade launchers, heavy machine guns and small arms, using 82mm mortars in some areas [...] Two of our servicemen were wounded in shelling. There are no losses among the personnel of the Joint Forces during the current day," the JFO HQ said in a report on its Facebook page.

Militants fired at the positions of the Ukrainian Armed Forces near Krymske, Svitlodarsk, Popasna, Maryinka, Hnutove, Pavlopil, Lebedynske, Vodiane, and Shyrokyne. The enemy used 82mm mortars near Lebedynske. Militants also fired 120mm mortar shells on the outskirts of Novoluhanske.

During the current day, militants used weapons of armored personnel carriers and large-caliber machine guns to fire at the positions of Ukrainian defenders in the vicinity of Lebedynske and Vodiane.

According to Ukrainian intelligence, three invaders were killed, and two more were injured.
