Russian occupation forces bringing heavy weapons and ammunition to Donbas during 'harvest truce' - OSCE SMM

The so called "harvest truce" in Donbas, announced on July 1 in connection with the beginning of the harvesting campaign, is used by the occupation forces controlling the region to deliver significant quantities of arms and ammunition from the territory of the Russian Federation, the Ukrainian side of the Joint Center on Control and Coordination has said, with reference to the OSCE Special Monitoring Mission (SMM).

"SMM observers are forced to admit that, using the so called "harvest truce," the occupation forces are not only building fortified points in "gray" zones with impunity, but also delivering new trains and trucks with weapons and ammunition to the occupied territories," reads a report on the Facebook page of the Joint Forces Operation headquarters.

So, it is noted that in the evening on August 7 the SMM drone revealed the columns of trucks entering the territory of Ukraine through an uncontrolled section of the border with the Russian Federation.

The convoys were moving on dirt roads in the area where there are no border checkpoints.
