Bochkovsky files application to got to reinstate him in post of head of State Emergencies Service under court ruling

Serhiy Bochkovsky who was reinstated on the post of the head of the State Emergencies Service of Ukraine has submitted an application to the Cabinet of Ministers that he intends to start fulfilling his duties.

"Our client has submitted applications for returning to the State Emergencies Service and the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine, as well as an application to the court on receiving the enforcement document to attract the State Enforcement Service of Ukraine," his lawyer Ihor Fedorenko said on Friday.

Bochkovsky and his lawyer count on the voluntary fulfillment of the requirements of the law and the court's ruling by the officials of the State Emergencies Service and the Cabinet of Ministers, but they are preparing the documents to file with the State Enforcement Service and the General Prosecutor's Office of Ukraine on the facts of deliberate non-enforcement of the court ruling.

At the same time, the Internal Ministry of Ukraine earlier reported on Friday that they challenged the ruling of the Kyiv district administrative court, which earlier declared unlawful the Cabinet of Ministers' order to dismiss Bochkovsky from the post of the head of the State Emergencies Service and annulled it.

"The investigation was carried out by the Chief Investigation Department of the National Police of Ukraine fully, comprehensively and objectively. The decision of the administrative court to reinstate Bochkovsky as head of the State Emergencies Service of Ukraine was appealed in a lawful manner," the communications department of the Ukrainian Internal Ministry said on Friday morning.

The ministry also added that a complaint will be lodged against actions of the judges of the Kyiv district administrative court with the High Council of Justice.
