The National Agency on Corruption Prevention (NACP) of Ukraine has decided to conduct a full audit of the electronic declarations of the NACP member, Natalia Korchak.

Korchak's e-declaration for 2015 and 2016, when she chaired the National Agency, will be checked, the NACP press service reported on Friday.

The report said the verification of the e-declarations will last 60 calendar days and start the day after the adoption of this decision.

Korchak herself noted on her Facebook page that the decision of the NACP to start a full audit of her declarations is "absolutely the right thing to do and she supports it."

"Of course, it will be a pity to disappoint NABU detectives, journalists and the active public, but all my life I have live on an official salary, there are no hidden deposits, no antiques, no collections of expensive drinks, or donated millions," she wrote.

At the same time, Korchak stressed that "the information from the NABU, which caused these checks of her declarations, is a means of exerting pressure on her" and "an attempt to compromise the NACP activities."

As reported, on March 28, 2018, Oleksandr Manhul was elected the new head of the National Agency on Corruption Prevention (NACP). His candidacy garnered 4 four votes.

The previous head of the NACP, Natalia Korchak, remains a member of the National Agency.
