European Commissioner Hahn to visit Ukraine on Nov 15 - EU mission

 Johannes Hahn, Commissioner for European Neighbourhood Policy and Enlargement Negotiations will pay a visit to Ukraine on Wednesday, November 15, within the framework of which he intends to discuss the implementation of the Agreement on the Ukraine-EU Association and the Free Trade Area, the European Union Mission in Kyiv has reported.

"The purpose of the visit is to discuss the implementation of the Association Agreement and an in-depth and comprehensive free trade zone, progress in fighting corruption and supporting independent media and public service broadcasting," the EU Delegation said on Tuesday morning.

It is assumed that Hahn will hold meetings with the top leadership of the Ukrainian state.

As reported, U.S. Assistant Secretary of State for European and Eurasian Affairs Aaron Wess Mitchell will visit Ukraine on Tuesday, November 14. Within the framework of the visit, Mitchell is scheduled to meet with Ukrainian high-ranking officials whose goal is "to confirm the U.S. commitment to the sovereignty and territorial integrity of Ukraine and encourage them to continue carrying out key reforms. Assistant Secretary of State also intends to meet with representatives of business circles and civil society of Ukraine.
