The information systems of the Presidential Administration of Ukraine are operating as usual, Deputy Head of the Presidential Administration Dmytro Shymkiv has said.

"The information systems and the cyber security team of the Presidential Administration of Ukraine are operating as usual, but paying more attention to the situation seen in other state-owned institutions over the cyber-attack," Shymkiv wrote on his Facebook page on Tuesday.

He said that no investment in human capital, information infrastructure, technological and organization processes of cyber security are a reckless disregard.

"The main thing in cyber fight is people! I am thankful to the IT team of the Presidential Administration for service and professionalism. The main thing that you know about all cyber security events and improve your skills," he said.

Shymkiv said that the Presidential Administration team prevented similar attacks several months ago and made technical steps to hide the potential zones for attacks.

"I have ordered the team to help IT teams of other institutions in the current situation," he said.
