Normandy format summit is another opportunity to demonstrate Russia's unwillingness to fulfill Minsk agreements

Ukraine considers the upcoming meeting in Berlin as a platform to demonstrate Russia’s unwillingness to fulfill Minsk agreements, which will result in the extension of sanctions at the summit of the European Council on October 20, Deputy Head of Presidential Administration of Ukraine Kostiantyn Yeliseyev has said.
"This meeting is considered in the context of the Summit of the European Council, which is to be held in Brussels on October 20, where the development strategy of the EU's relations with the Russian Federation will be considered on the basis of new conditions. Therefore, "Normandy format" summit is another opportunity to demonstrate its inability or unwillingness to fulfill Minsk agreements to Russia, and the result of this unwillingness will be the EU's decision to extend the sanctions or tighten them, if necessary," he said on air of 5 TV channel on Tuesday night.
Yeliseyev also said that for Ukraine the key issues of the meeting are: access to the Special Mission of the OSCE border, the withdrawal of all Russian troops from the territory of Donbas, the release of hostages, ensuring of holding local elections in Donbas region in the future by ensuring the work of the armed OSCE mission, as well as the removal of all "fake" structures of the executive and legislative branches of the so-called "LPR" and "DPR".
The AP deputy head emphasized the importance of taking the development initiatives of the 'road map' of implementation of the Minsk agreements by all partners.
