President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko has appointed Major-General of the Security Service of Ukraine (SBU) Kostiantyn Bryl to head the Zaporizhia Regional State Administration.

Poroshenko arrived to Zaporizhia on Friday and officially introduced Bryl as Zaporizhia region's governor.

According to the president, the nomination of this candidate was the first among the decisions of the new Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine.
