Normandy Quartet foreign ministers may meet in first half of February

The foreign ministers of the Normandy Quartet (France, Germany, Russia, Ukraine) may meet approximately during the second week of February, Ukrainian Foreign Minister Pavlo Klimkin said.

"We plan this for the beginning of February. I so far cannot give you the final date, this is likely to be the second week," Klimkin told journalists in Kyiv on Wednesday in reply to a question from Interfax.

The meeting's date, venue, and agenda will be determined next week, he said.

Klimkin had told Interfax earlier in Davos that the Normandy Quartet foreign ministers might meet in Paris in early February.

The previous meeting between the Normandy Quartet foreign ministers took place in Berlin on November 6, 2015.
