Ukrmedproyektbud Customer accepts offer of Altis-Construction to construct Okhmatdyt hospital
The tender committee of public enterprise Ukrmedproyektbud, which ordered the construction of the new building of National Children's Hospital Okhmatdyt, has selected Altis-Construction LLC as the general contractor, the press service of Ukrmedproyektbud has reported.
The press service said that the decision was made by the commission on October 27.
Committee members opened bids on October 21, 2015.
Altis-Construction offered the cost of UAH 389.979 million (VAT included). The offer of Energomontazhvetyliatsia LLC was UAH 430.06 million. The expected cost was UAH 480.78 million.
"It is planned to sign the agreement with the winner of the tender Ukrmedproyektbud on November 9, and then constructors will be able to come to the site and resume works," the enterprise said.
The observation of transparency and honesty standards at the tender were under the control of experts of the Kyiv representative office of Transparency International.
As reported, the construction of the new building of Okhmatdyt was stopped in autumn 2013 due to the absence of financing.
