MEP Saryusz-Wolski: Russia already waging war on Ukraine

MEP Jacek Saryusz-Wolski (Group of the European People's Party, Poland) thinks that the events in eastern Ukraine can hardly be called 'a peaceful process.'
It can hardly be called a peaceful process, as neither Russians nor separatists adhere to it. As new High Representative of the Union for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy has said, the so-called elections of local 'presidents' and 'MPs' are a new obstacle for peace and they violate Minsk agreements, Saryusz-Wolski told Interfax-Ukraine on Thursday.
He noted that the conditions for a peaceful process are clear and lie in starting to adhere to the provisions of Minsk agreements. In addition, any elections in the so-called Donetsk and Luhansk People's Republics must be held according to Ukrainian laws.
Even if it's not called this way, Russia is already on the path to war against Ukraine. For now Russia has done nothing to show its intentions to deescalate the conflict, MEP Saryusz-Wolski said
