Poland sends humanitarian aid to Ukraine - NSDC

Polish volunteers and privately owned firms have sent humanitarian aid intended for the Ukrainian army and displaced persons, Ukrainian National Security and Defense Council (NSDC) spokesman Andriy Lysenko said at a press briefing in Kyiv on Thursday.

"Humanitarian supplies from Warsaw are heading to Ukraine. Polish volunteers and private firms have collected personal hygiene items, warm clothes and medication for Ukrainian soldiers and displaced persons from the area of the anti-terrorist operation," he said.

A total of 112 trucks carrying humanitarian aid provided by Germany arrived in Ukraine a few days ago.
