The participants of the armed operations for the period when they are staying in the counterterrorist operation zone (ATO) are to be exempted from paying credit rates to commercial banks, Ukrainian Prime Minister Arseniy Yatseniuk has said.

"We're working with commercial banks so that ATO participants could be able not to pay credit rates when they are participating in the ATO. The major part of the banks has agreed," he told reporters in Kyiv on Monday after visiting the military hospital.

In addition, the premier called on private clinics to help rehabilitating wounded servicemen.

"Some of the money is given by the state and some of the money is given by people, and I hope that private clinics will also help," he said.
