Poroshenko delivers large batch of generators, charging stations to the military
Member of Parliament and leader of the European Solidarity party Petro Poroshenko has delivered a large batch of energy equipment to the military, including two large containerized battery storage stations, four 20 kW diesel generators, 118 inverter generators, and 113 charging stations, with a total value exceeding UAH 11 million.
"Energy today must be in brigades and units, where it is truly needed, not in a 'telethon,'" Poroshenko wrote on Facebook.
"This equipment was received by units of the Ground Forces, Air Assault Forces, the Navy, the Marine Corps, artillery, logistics, and radio-technical units. These are the people who are working today in the most difficult conditions: often without electricity, but with full responsibility for results because generators and charging stations mean the operation of drones. They mean electronic warfare and countering enemy UAVs. They mean communications, command and control, headquarters, reconnaissance, and unit coordination. They mean military medicine – stabilization points, evacuation, and saving the wounded. They mean the army's ability to fight and to preserve lives," the European Solidarity leader emphasized.
"I would like to single out the Navy in particular. It is through their efforts that key results in striking the enemy at sea are being achieved today. And for this, they likewise need autonomy, energy, and stable communications. We are doing our job. We are doing what must be done during a war. Because when the enemy is trying to plunge the country into darkness, our duty is to bring light to those who are holding the front," Poroshenko wrote.
