Ukrainian Security Service HQ in Donetsk shelled
Donetsk City Council has urged all city residents to leave streets and seek shelter as the regional department of the Ukrainian Security Service has come under intense shelling.
"We are asking you to be as cautious as possible, not to approach the scene of the incident, and adjust your auto routes," the council said in a statement on Thursday.
The Security Council building in Donetsk is currently occupied by the leadership of the self-proclaimed Donetsk People's Republic.
It was reported earlier with reference to the City Council that the Budionivsky and Petrovsky districts had been shelled last night. Three people were killed and five injured. Eight houses, several sheds, and one garage with a car in it were destroyed.
Artillery shells also destroyed two houses and damaged a gas pipeline in the community of Mandrykine in the Petrovsky district of Donetsk. No one was harmed.
