Kliuyev sure his deputy Sivkovych not involved in dispersal of pro-EU protesters on Nov 30
Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council (NSDC) of Ukraine Andriy Kliuyev has described all accusations against him regarding his alleged involvement in the violent dispersal of pro-European demonstrators on November 30 as a "political drama," and he is sure that his deputy, Volodymyr Sivkovych, also has nothing to do with these events.
"My deputy also has nothing to do with this process. These are manifestations of a political drama," he said in an interview with reporters from Germany's ARD television channel and Berliner Zeitung newspaper.
Kliuyev said that he had arrived at the Prosecutor General's Office on his own so that "there was no misunderstanding."
"I answered all questions, and then there was a statement by the Prosecutor General's Office that I have nothing to do with these events," he said.
He also added: "But due to the fact that there is a political interest, of course, some politicians are trying to accuse me of something, somehow get me involved in this issue."
