Corrections to the draft Association Agreement between Ukraine and the European Union can be added until the moment of the signature of the document, the Foreign Ministry of Ukraine has said.

"Ukraine and the EU have completed the preparation of the authentic texts of the draft agreement in all 24 languages, including Ukrainian, for signing," Director of the Information Policy Department at the Ukrainian Foreign Ministry Yevhen Perebyinis said at a press briefing in Kyiv on Tuesday.

Perebyinis also said that linguistic and technical corrections could be added to the document in the process of the approval of the draft agreement by the Ukrainian and European sides. Such corrections can be added to the document until the very moment of its signature.

"It's a normal practice when the texts of the agreement [in different languages] are compared until the document is signed, and we don't see this as a sensation," Perebyinis said.

Earlier, some media reported that the texts of the Association Agreement between Ukraine and the EU in English and Ukrainian differ due to problems with the translation, as each agency translated the text on its own and in a rush.
