Ukrainian opposition leaders inform ambassadors of EU states about situation in CEC

The leaders of opposition forces in Ukraine have informed the ambassadors of European countries about the situation with the counting of votes in the Central Election Commission (CEC) of Ukraine, with diplomats taking note of this information, UDAR Party leader Vitali Klitschko has said.

"We held talks, provided first-hand information about the situation that is now emerging, and the talks held with the CEC chairman. There were no fundamental decisions taken – this was an exchange of information," he said on Monday, when asked to comment on the results of meetings between opposition leaders and the ambassadors of European countries.

Klitschko said that diplomats had taken note of this information.

"They will report this to the leadership of their countries and the European community. There were no fundamental decisions taken," he said.

"We have informed representatives of the European Union, the United States and Canada about the dangerous crimes that are now committed by the authorities in order to falsify the will of our people," said the deputy leader of the Batkivschyna Party, Oleksandr Turchynov.
