President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy and German Chancellor Olaf Scholz have discussed in Davos coordination with partners to achieve a just peace.

"I met with German Chancellor Olaf Scholz in Davos. The main subjects of our discussion were continued support for Ukraine and coordination with partners for achieving a just peace," the Ukrainian head of state said on the Telegram channel Tuesday.

Zelenskyy thanked Germany for all of its assistance to Ukraine in its fight against Russian aggression.

"We appreciate Germany's leadership in strengthening Ukraine's air defense and its contribution into saving thousands of lives," he said.

According to the presidential press service, Germany ranks second in terms of the volume of assistance provided to Ukraine, which has exceeded EUR 37 billion since day one of the Russian full-scale invasion.

"A separate topic of the discussion was cooperation between Germany and the Ministry of National Unity of Ukraine. The parties talked about specific steps for creating unity centers in Berlin," it said.

Scholz, for his part, posted the following message on the X social network following the meeting with Zelenskyy: "Nothing about Ukraine without Ukraine."
